The government and BA CityFlyer are engaged in ‘very productive discussions’ over the future of the London City route.
That’s according to the Minister for Economic Development who has met with senior representatives from the airline as recently as Monday.
Government says it is doing all it can, as fast as it can, to ensure that air links to London are maintained – primarily to help the business community.
John Shimmin hopes to make a public announcement before the end of the month and says things are looking positive:
