An award-winning student's been warned to stay on the straight and narrow by magistrates - after being caught with cocaine in a Douglas nightclub.
Conor Holden of Willow Close in Onchan admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse this week.
The court heard the 21 year old - who won Isle of Man College's top horticulture prize last year - found almost a gram of the class A drug on the floor of the Outback on January 21, and was detained by security staff who spotted him acting suspiciously.
After hearing he'd previously been warned for possessing cannabis, Magistrates fined him £225 and ordered him to pay £125 costs.
