Two island primary schools will share a headteacher from next year.
Anna Jackson, who is head at Peel Clothworkers, will also take responsibility for Marown from February.
The Education Department said Mrs Jackson has a passion for "inclusion, intentional thinking and employability skills".
During her time at Clothworkers, the experienced teacher has guided the school through two external validations.
She has also taught at St Mary's and Ballacottier Primary Schools in Douglas.
Marown currently has 165 pupils while Peel Clothworkers has 422.
