Isle of Pride 'welcomes the presence of police at Pride' as they look to 'strengthen and nurture positive future relationships.'
That's according to a statement from directors of the organisation, who says the past must be learned from.
It comes following two Pride performers holding up signs at last weekend's event which read 'no pride in policing' and 'no cops at pride.'
Organisers say they respect the opinions of others but inclusion is a core value for them.
