Police are investigating two burglaries in the west of the Island.
A number of Shebeg pottery pieces have been stolen from a property in Greeba whilst a brass seafarers boats compass and alcohol have been taken from a house in Peel in the last three to four weeks.
According to Police, despite travel restrictions there are still a minority looking to exploit vulnerable, secluded and unoccupied homes and as a result are urging residents to make sure their houses are secure and regularly checked.
CID officers are now looking to trace the stolen items - if anyone has information they think could help authorities they're asked to contact DC Gorry on 631 301 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
