Plans to turn Douglas Post Office into retail space in a bid to attract a big name retailer will be submitted this summer.
That's according to the chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office Ray Harmer who's outlined the vision for the site on Regent Street:
Mannin Retail has taken over the running of the office and will move it into the former 'Carnival' building on Strand Street next month.
A design team has now been appointed to develop the new scheme - however Douglas East MHK Jon Joughin says he isn't convinced the plan adds up:
