The Island's post office made just over half a million pounds of profit last year.
The figures are revealed in the annual report of the Isle of Man Post Office for the last 12 months, which is due to be laid before Tynwald in November.
In the document, the organisation says its turnover last year was £24.2 million, compared to £23.4 million the year before.
But rising costs meant profits dropped from £1.5 million in 2022 to £542 in 2023.
