The public have been advised that on the day an Island-wide doorstep delivery of standard post will not be possible, however the post office have said they’re confident all premium services will be available.
Potentially upto 269 members of staff could be out on strike.
All staff will be back in work the following day; and the post office have said every effort will then be made to catch up on the backlog.
