The counter at Post Office Headquarters has re-opened following an evacuation yesterday.
However, the postal service says mail arriving by air has not been able to arrive on Island but post travelling on the boat has reached the Isle of Man as normal.
Post which couldn't be delivered yesterday will now be delivered today, with Post Office Chief Executive, Simon Kneen, thanking customers for their patience and understanding.
The retail network is also returning to normal - any queries can be made to the customer services team on 664 664.
