The Isle of Man Post Office have said they are disappointed that their staff could be on the verge of strike action over a pay dispute.
The Communication Workers Union is currently considering balloting its members over industrial action.
It stems from a pay freeze imposed despite workers believing they were entitled to a share of the rewards from, what was a financially successful year for the post office.
The Post Office has said the pay freeze is as a result of wanting to support the Island in the re-balancing of its budgets during the economic downturn.
They also say they’re acting in the best interests of their employees, endeavoring to protect the future prosperity of the future prosperity of the business, jobs and postal services.
