Bus Vannin says nine of its services are at risk of being called off today.
On Facebook, it says staff shortages and sickness means buses between Douglas and Ramsey, Port Erin and Port St Mary face disruption.
The routes run from 2.40pm through to 11.10 tonight.
The organisation's had problems covering all of its routes for more than a week.
