Port Erin goes to the polls for by-election

Ratepayers in Port Erin will today elect a new commissioner for the village.

A by-election has been called after member Tony Wright has stepped down from his position due to ill health.

Jolinda De Beer and Barbara Guy are in contention for the vacant seat.

The polling station at the commissioners’ office will remain open until 8.00pm.
