The Royal British Legion will launch this year’s Poppy Appeal tomorrow (Monday).
To mark the start of the 2012 campaign a "poppy breakfast” is being held in conjunction with Manx2.com at the Claremont Hotel from 8am.
It will be opened by Steve Rodan – the Island president of the RBL charity.
Thanks to the generosity of the Manx public the legion here has won the Poppy Cup by collecting more money than anywhere else in Britain for 30 successive years.
