A woman has been fined for sharing confidential police data on Whatsapp.
55 year old Sharen Judith Gardner of Queens Terrace in Douglas shared the information with three others in a family Whatsapp group while she worked as a civilian financial crime investigator for the Constabulary.
She was arrested when a phone belonging to someone else was examined as part of an unrelated investigation.
Gardner admitted the offence and was fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £125 costs.
