Police are issuing advice to parents on online bullying after a number of recent incidents.
The Western neighbourhood team says they've seen many times when young people have been nasty to others in group chats and then deliberately added the person to see the comments.
They suggest that group chats should be kept positive, helpful and supportive and that young people should feel no pressure to be part of them.
Officers ask parents to speak to their children and make sure they're not suffering abuse online.
