Police forces in the UK tell their Manx counterparts about sex offenders moving to the Island, according to the Island's Justice and Home Affairs minister.
Jane Poole-Wilson faced a Tynwald question for written reply about convicted sex offenders from the UK living here.
She said registered offenders have to notify UK police when they move address - and those officers will let the Island's Constabulary know if they're moving here.
And she added if the offenders are subject to sexual harm prevention orders in the UK, officers here will apply for equivalent orders in the Manx courts.
