Police say they'll be making sure you're safe while driving to kick off the New Year.
The Roads Policing Unit say this month they're cracking down on people who use their phone behind the wheel.
Officers say they're also checking the public are wearing seat belts, and child car seats are fitted correctly.
Police warn not to use your phone when sat in traffic and to take a few extra minutes to make sure your children are safely secured in your car.
