The future of a historic police station in the south of the Island looks uncertain after a campaign to save it from being sold off.
In Tynwald this week Garff MHK Daphne Caine put forward an urgent motion to transfer the old Castletown police station to Manx National Heritage.
However, Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey said he couldn't transfer the building - which is on the open market - as he had a duty to protect the Manx taxpayer.
Unable to reach an agreement, the motion was adjourned for two months to allow further talks to take place.
