Police dealt with 16 reported collisions during Wednesday morning and afternoon.
Snow and icy conditions caused disruption on the Island highways yesterday, also resulting in road closures and delays to some public transport services.
The constabulary revealed the number of incidents they attended between 7am and 2pm on January 23.
Beinn-Y-Phott Road and sections of West Baldwin Road and Druidale Road were closed overnight last night, however they have now re-opened following a further inspection this morning.
