Roads policing officers are giving motorists tips on how to make sure their vehicles are fit for winter conditions.
The constabulary has released a short video on social media showing people ways to check the likes of lights, oil levels and tyres to make sure they're suitable for the highways.
According to authorities a number of vehicles continue to be stopped over the likes of defective lights and other simple issues during this years annual winter vehicle check campaign.
