Officials want to make sure people aren't stepping out into roads while maintaining social distancing.
The constabulary says some bus drivers have expressed concerns about people stepping into the roads without looking, adding they know people are only doing it to keep the right distance whilst out exercising.
Officers say whilst it's great people are staying active where possible, residents should only cross highways when they're clear and safe and ideally stay on pavements at all times.
Authorities also advise to take read guidance online or anything posted locally with popular areas getting even busier at the moment.
