In a post on social media, officers say the Mountain Road will remain two-way throughout the festival.
However, cycling on the route will be banned.
Further, authorities say speed limits around the Island will change - so motorists should pay attention to road signs.
Lastly, it adds drug and drink driving on Island will not be tolerated and to remember 'a ban here is a ban in the UK.'
