Police investigations are continuing after a fatal crash in St Johns yesterday.
At about 4.50pm a Triumph motorcycle travelling from Peel collided with a Suzuki going in the opposite direction.
The Triumph rider, a 67-year-old man from Hull, was treated for his injuries at the scene but was pronounced dead on his arrival at Noble's Hospital.
The rider and passenger of the Suzuki - a male and female from Liverpool - were treated for injuries at the scene and later taken to hospital where they remain.
The road between Tynwald Hill and Ballaleece Bridge was closed for several hours while officers carried out their investigations.
Police are now thanking the members of the public who stopped and helped with first aid and are now appealing to any witnesses to contact the Roads Policing Team.
