Police investigate vehicle hit and run

Police are investigating a hit and run incident which left a car damaged.

It happened at around 5.10pm on Friday of last week in the area of Somerset Road, Douglas.

The car which sustained the damage was a blue Volkswagen Polo car travelling in the direction of Ballaquayle Road, the vehicle responsible was a silver Peugeot, possibly an old style model.

There are believed to have been several other driver’s in the area at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Gardner at Lord Street Police Station.
