Police are investigating after a number of sheep were injured by a dog near Ballasalla.
It happened between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Saturday, December 22nd on Black Hill on the Crossag Road.
A vet had to be called to treat the sheep which are thought to be in lamb - it’s feared that due to the distress caused the animals could now miscarry.
Police are reminding dog owners that it’s an offence not to have dogs under control at all times.
