Police in Ramsey are seeking witnesses to an incident in the town on Tuesday evening.
A 37-year-old local man was assaulted near to the Silver Star takeaway at approximately 5.50pm.
It happened in Chapel Lane near to the Britannia Pub.
Given the time of day police say it’s likely there were a number of passing vehicles and pedestrians.
The incident involved two men that were known to each other. One man who was arrested has since been charged with assault and being drunk and disorderly.
