20 vehicles were stopped in the South of the Island last week as the police continued their winter lighting campaign.
Officers say 31 defects were found in total during the operation on Thursday night.
It comes following the constabulary reminding residents to make sure their cars are fit for the road.
The roads policing unit took to social media to reiterate its message.
