Motorcycle rider taken to Nobles with serious injuries
There was a serious three-vehicle road traffic collision this morning on the Mountain Road involving a Police car.
It happened near to the 32nd milestone in Braddan at 9.45am.
The collision involved a red and white coloured Honda motorcycle, and a black Suzuki bike; the police vehicle was a Range Rover.
The Honda had slowed behind the Police car, but was struck from behind by the Suzuki prior to the Suzuki then striking the rear of the Range Rover.
The rider of the Suzuki sustained serious injuries and was taken to Nobles by ambulance.
The road was closed for an hour whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
Police want to hear from any witnesses who may have any information.
