Police are requesting information after hit-and-run damage was caused to a sign near Laxey on Wednesday night.
It happened on the main road between Baldrine and the village, near to the junction with Packhorse Lane.
Police believe the vehicle mounted the roadside ledge where the Chevron sign was, and subsequently must has suffered significant damage.
It's thought the car was a Volkswagen Golf, anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
