Police are appealing for information after a car crashed into another and left the scene.

Officers say it happened at Ballaugh Beach at around 6.15pm on Thursday (August 25).

A grey Ford Kuga was parked when another vehicle (believed to be a grey/white Suntour Kontiki motorhome) crashed into the front of it - causing extensive damage.

Authorities add it's 'unlikely' the driver didn't know they had collided with the Kuga.
