Police and Manx Telecom are warning residents of a phone scam which is circulating.
The constabulary says a person is falsely claiming to be from Manx Telecom in an attempt to steal money from people.
On social media, officers have shared advice issued by MT on how to handle any unplanned or suspicious calls.
Authorities say residents are 'routinely' losing money in scams, adding it's something people need to work together on to stop.
