The Roads Policing Unit says it'll be talking to cyclists today before a planned ride over the Mountain Road.
On Facebook, officers say although the ride isn't illegal, it may well be unsafe with the amount of TT traffic on the Island.
They say the ride has been widely discussed by Island cyclists on social media.
Police are asking them to reconsider their route, and say officers at Ramsey Hairpin will stop riders and try to dissuade them from taking the route.
