A teenager motorcyclist from Ramsey has been fined £160 after being caught speeding.
17-year-old Harvey Gleghorn, of Whitebridge Avenue, was clocked travelling at 46mph in a 30mph zone.
Police stopped him on the Sulby Straight on August 21st.
At Douglas Courthouse last week he admitted the offence via Coroner's Admission - in mitigation he told the court: "I'm very embarrassed and sorry."
Magistrates ordered him to pay £50 in prosecution costs and endorsed his driving licence with four penalty points.
