The Island could get its first ever dedicated electric charging station for cars - if planners give the green light.
A planning application for the facility on South Quay in Douglas has been submitted showing 12 charging bays.
A shipping container with a battery bank and substation would provide power to recharge electric vehicles.
If approved, the Lemac Power Station would be the first of its type for the Isle of Man.
