A planning application has been submitted to install an information point, seating and viewing area at the Point of Ayre.
It would be in an area of the former quarry which is part of the Manx Birdlife Reserve.
The charity says this proposal, along with previous ones, aims to protect wildlife and visitors to the site.
Plans include new paths to allow wheelchairs, a circular seating area and viewing platform, as well as installing two bat boxes.
Manx Birdlife aims to open the reserve to the public around March 2024.
