Andreas Commissioners has applied for planning permission to move and install a new play area.
The local authority wants to include a wheelchair accessible roundabout, swings and a climbing frame with a slide.
It wants to move the park to the millenium gardens.
Two sycamore trees will have to be removed but the application says these will be replaced.
