Balthane Industrial Estate could be in line for expansion.
Dandara has put forward plans to build 20 industrial units at the facility in Ballasalla which would be separated into three blocks.
The company says in its proposals the site is within an area allocated for industrial use in the Area Plan for South.
It's added the buildings would be more ideal for smaller scale businesses and therefore wouldn't attract large articulated vehicles to the complex.
