Laxey could soon be getting a new chippy - albeit a mobile one!
At their last meeting, Garff Commissioners heard Kirk Michael Chippy had applied to operate on Mines Road in the village.
Members heard it had been popular in the past, and would serve Laxey at agreed times when other local businesses were closed.
The board said it would negotiate with the company and discuss the application at its next meeting.
