Petition launched to stop noisy fireworks

An Island woman's launched a petition to ban noisy fireworks on the Island.

Avril Muller's set up the online petition on change.org

She says animals and wildlife are frightened by fireworks - and she wants Tynwald to introduce new laws only allowing silent fireworks.

And she adds the legislation would show the world that the Isle of Man is a country that cares about animal welfare.
