Police say traffic jams in the Island's capital last night were caused by a "perfect storm" of circumstances.
Traffic came to a standstill in Douglas yesterday evening as the roads closed at teatime for the Festival of Motorcycling.
Although they opened between 5pm and 6pm, a crash in Kewaigue meant tailbacks stretching back to the town centre, and horse trams on the prom caused problems along its Northern end.
