Michael Croft, of King Edward Road in Onchan, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 81-year-old denies driving without due care and attention, failing to stop and failing to report an accident after a crash on Loch Promenade in Douglas which left a woman injured.
Mr Croft was bailed in the sum of £500 until a pre-trial review hearing on July 23.
