A pensioner from Douglas will stand trial after being accused of indecently assaulting a child.
74-year-old Thomas St John Neville Bates, of Mona Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today.
He's also been accused of committing an act of gross indecency - a charge which can only be tried at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Both offences are said to have taken place on or about July 3rd this year.
Committal proceedings - where the case is elevated to the higher court - will take place on December 14th.
He's been bailed until his next court appearance on December 4th.
