A pensioner from Douglas has appeared in court accused of cheating the benefit system.
69-year-old Jean Collette Matthews, of Glen Park Drive, is accused of three offences of making false representations to obtain benefits.
It's alleged she was overpaid £38,000 between September 2011 and October 2017.
A two-week adjournment was granted - she will next appear in court on October 4th.
