Punishments handed to burglars on the Isle of Man will be reviewed as part of a new Sentencing Bill - but there's a warning they may already be tough enough.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson says whilst he's happy to review it he thinks it may be the application of the penalty which needs addressing:
Last month Deemster Alistair Montgomerie said he believed penalties needed to be "greatly increased" after last year's spate of burglaries turned us into an "island of fear".
Mr Watterson says he's hoping the new bill, and a possible guidelines council, could bring a range of areas in line with the "modern era":
