Planning decisions relating to a new Peel development have highlighted a potential need for change in how applications are processed.
That's according to Peel MHK Tim Crookall who represented government at a meeting where residents appealed for a halt on plans to develop 144 new homes at the Reayrt Ny Cronk site.
The spotlight was put on supposed government failings to keep up with changes in the town.
Mr Crookall responded by saying that planning strategy may need looking at:
13 arrested in drink-drive campaign
Laxey road shut until January
Former Motor Museum goes on the market
No Onchan Park plan, say commissioners
Laxey campsite to get campervan improvements
Local authority: don't suffer in silence at Xmas
