Peel pub hits back at internet trolls

A pub in Peel has hit back at internet trolls who published an old video of food storage areas on social media.

The video of the Marine Hotel on Shore Road was taken some years ago under previous management, and its owners say they're now considering legal action against those who uploaded the footage.

Health inspectors who visited the kitchen after seeing the video gave the pub a clean bill of health.

And staff at the business have uploaded photos of the food preparation areas to Facebook, adding anyone who wants to see the standard of hygiene can see for themselves.
