Pedestrian has serious injuries after collision in Glen Vine

A man has sustained serious injuries after being involved in a collision last night.

Police and emergency services were called to the incident near Glen Lough campsite in Glen Vine just before 2am this morning.

It’s believed the pedestrian was walking home alone after a night out, and officers are urging the public to be vigilant when walking at night.

An investigation is underway as the full circumstances are not yet confirmed - anyone who witnessed anything is asked to contact Police HQ on 631212.
