Pastor accuses Treasury Minister of doing Satan's bidding over assisted dying

A Baptist pastor from Peel has accused Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson of carrying out Satan's will after assisted dying laws passed through Tynwald.

Glenn Walters, of Grace Baptist Church on Market Street in Peel, was speaking to Christian news website The Stream about his disappointment that the new laws had passed.

He said people lived too comfortably with low taxation and high standards of living to oppose the legislation.

And he added Dr Allinson 'does the lust of his father the devil, who was a murderer from the beginning'.
