New parking laws are coming into force at Noble's Hospital.
It comes following concerns there aren't enough disabled bays available, due to non-permit holders using them.
In a statement, the government says it's to ensure rules are understood by staff, patients and visitors.
The rules - which will be put in place later this month - involve checking if motorists have the right to park in disabled bays, have in-date tax discs and aren't leaving their cars in restricted areas.
As a result the hospital’s parking areas will be actively policed, and penalties including fines will be issued to those who breach the new regulations.
The new order will be in place for all parking areas on the hospital, apart from the car parks at the Hospice and Manannan Court.
