The Parish Walk wants to ditch plastic.
Organisers of one of the Island's biggest walking events say they're looking at ways to cut the amount used throughout the day.
Race director Ray Cox is encouraging all food stations involved to reduce their amount of plastic, looking at other options for things like cups and bin bags.
He says Manx company Mannvend is lending a helping hand to reduce the race walk's carbon footprint.
